Cornelious “See” Flowers,
Director, Community Outreach
Father, Husband, Poet, Author, and Speaker, Cornelious “See” Flowers serves in the capacity of Community Outreach as our Director. “See” is from the south suburbs of Chicago and is heavily involved in community activism and engagement.
As a performance poet, “See” has been on stages and screens across the country. His works have been featured in publications and various media. In 2006, “See” was featured on the TLC reality series, The Messengers. He has also done radio, film, and theater productions. He has published 2 books and written numerous essays and poems to critical acclaim.
He is also a barber and has served the community for more than 25 years. He is most proud of being able to donate his talents and time to organizations and communities with free haircut drives, back-to-school events, group and nursing home servicing, and other charitable causes.
“See’s” motto is, “They don’t follow what they hear; They follow what they see.” He is an example. His experience with trauma and the challenges of his communities have led “See” to be an advocate for mental health, young adults, survivors of violent crime, and more. In his role as Director of Community Outreach, See is the liaison and lead for projects and programs that service multiple segments.
Keshia Gibson is IT consultant to OPUS DEI CDC.
She received the highest honors from ITT Technical Institute for computer network systems.
Keshia”s additional training at Devry Institute of Technology and knowledge in various databases, networking skills & software applications has proven to be of great value to OPUS DEI CDC.
She has received many awards and certifications, including HQS Certification (Housing Quality Standards).
Ms. Michelle Fisher is Executive Assistant to CEO/Founder Joseph Harris.
Mr. Harris met Ms. Fisher in 2005 during a routine housing inspection at one of the properties she managed for a group of developers.
Mr. Harris was so impressed by her hands on, no non-sense dedication to quality housing, that he invited her to join in on the business venture-OPUS DEI CDC.
Rebecca Buor is administrator assistant to the Consultant Of OPUS DEI CDC.
In Ghana Africa she developed a passion for community services while working with her uncle”s church.
She brought that passion for helping people to Chicago and OPUS DEI CDC.
Rebecca is truly a blessing.
Mr. Larry Thompson is a consultant for OPUS DEI CDC.
He is a Commercial Loan Closing Officer with experience in Both Commercial Real Estate and Small Business as a Commercial Customer Service Representative and Collateral Representative.
He has 9 years of experience in financial services.
